スキャン中に人が写っている場合は、顔がぼやけるようになります。また、ポータルの周囲の地面やエリアをスキャンすることも、ポータルをその風景や環境に配置することに役立ちます。例えば、6D.aiがスキャンから再現できたのはこのようなものです。

質問

言い方が悪いかもしれませんが、誰かが手動でスキャンを確認しているのでしょうか？現実世界には存在しない、あるいは位置が間違っているポータルをスキャンしましたが、ゲーム内ではまだ同じ場所にある、あるいは存在しているのでしょうか？

スキャンの品質ではなく、匿名化のため特別に行われる監査がありますが、これは2つの要素を含みます：ポータルが存在しない場合は、ウェイフェアラーを改善して削除する。ポータルが存在するのであれば、周辺のスキャンや歩道のスキャンでさえ有用である。

ありがとうございます！スキャンをウェイスポットの編集または削除リクエストの一部として添付でき、スキャンのGPS位置が表示されると、ウェイフェアラーのレビュープロセス中に場所と名前の編集を検証し、多くの誤った編集を防ぐのに役立ちます。

Thank you for your contributions. Portal Scanning is incredibly important to our long term goals. It's helping us take our 2D map of a Portal and layer 3D information of the Portal and its surroundings on top of that.

If people are in the recording, their faces are blurred out. Also, scanning the ground or area around the Portal is also still useful to help place the Portal in its scene or environment. For example, this is what 6D.ai was able to recreate from their scans.

Not to be rude, but does somebody manually verify these scans? I've scanned portals that are non-existent or incorrectly positioned in the real world yet they're still in the same location/exist in game?

There's an audit that happens specifically for anonymization, not scan quality, but there are 2 parts here: If the Portal doesn't exist, then we should improve Wayfarer so they're removed. If the Portal does exist, then even scans of the surrounding area or sidewalk are useful.

Ok thanks for that! It would be handy if a scan could be attached as part of a wayspot edit or removal request and it showed the scan's GPS position, would certainly help validate location and name edits during the wayfarer review process and prevent many spurious edits

+1. The real world changes and the Portal Network should also change to reflect what's currently there at that location, or help correct misplaced Portals. I'll ask the Wayfarer team to consider this, thank you.
