約1週間前に公開された時からだ。ポータルでエージェント名が表示されるようになる前は、この情報が表示されていなかったから、自宅や職場の近くのポータルをスキャンしていたかもしれないな。バージョン2.51ではエージェント名がポータル上に表示されるようになったから、エージェントがスキャンする際にこの情報を知ることができるようにしたいと思うよ。

Scout Controller makes me take the time to notice and appreciate individual Portals more through the act of scanning them, epecially the physically smaller ones, like memorial plaques and dedication markers. It feels a little like geocaching.

If you successfully upload more Portal Scans than any other Agent, you claim Scout Controller on that Portal. Right now, oftentimes this means 1 Portal Scan. The Scout Controller medal is counting the number of unique Portals where you are Scout Controller.

So if you were to scan 100 unclaimed Portals 1 time each, then you would earn the Bronze Scout Controller medal. I was able to do it in 3 hours of my normal play, but it could be done faster if you were racing for it.

Starting when the stat went live approx 1 week ago. Before we made codename visible on Portals, I may have scanned Portals near my home/work because this info wasn't surfaced. Now that codename is visible on Portals in 2.51, we want Agents to know this for Scans moving forward.
