| 質問 モールは承諾すべき候補なのでしょうか。友人と議論を交わしたところ、ホットスポットと捉える人もいれば、一般的商業施設と捉える人もいます。確かにモール内の一般的な店舗をポケストップとすべきではないでしょうが、モールそのものは異なるものと扱うべきでないと思うのですが、皆さんはどうお考えになるでしょうか。 |

| 意見 モールそのものは「一般的な商業施設」と分類されますが、その他のもので推薦できるがあることもあります。私の地元にあるモールには建築的観点から独創的な入場ゲートがありますし、周辺に標識の設置されたバタフライガーデンもあります。モール内には独創的な照明も設置されていますし、郵便局もあります。友人と遊ぶことのできる遊戯施設もありますね。大規模なモールであれば装飾された噴水やアートワークもあります。優れた壁画には心癒されるものですが、そのアーティストには必ず対価を支払いましょう。地域でのイベント等のポスターの貼られた掲示板を探してみましょう。また、推薦時にはモールそのものではなく具体的なPOIを強調したタイトルと説明文を用いてください。 |
| 意見 ものによるでしょうね。看板やアートワーク、プレイグラウンド、常に設置されている季節的でない特別なものであれば、私は問題ないと思います。何もないあり触れた入場ゲートでは駄目でしょうね。 |

挙げられたご意見のとおりですね。独創的で興味深いものや芸術的なものであれば、適格となり得るでしょう。それはその場所に根差した珈琲店や入場ゲートといったものにも当てはまります。ただし、モール内にある大半のものやモールそのものは必ずしも適格とはならず、一般的な商業店舗の分類になるでしょうね。
もっとも、多くの事例と同じく、個々の推薦で判断されるべきことであり、鵜呑みにすることなく審査してください。

Should I accept public malls?
I got in a debate with friends. Some of us think it should be considered a hotspot while other think they should be considered a generic business. I agree that generic business in the mall should not be pokestop. However I believe the mall in itself should be treated differently. What do you think?Gendgi-PGO

I'd also accept unique architecture or one that was truly culturally or historically significant.
Unfortunately, I think I've reviewed a dozen this week that were simply "shopping mall with ample parking."0X00FF00-ING

The mall itself would be classified as "generic business", but you may or may not be able to find other submittible things.
My local mall has architecturally unique arches/gateways at some of its entrances. Surrounding the mall are a few butterfly gardens (with signs). Inside the mall is a unique "lighting" display. Inside the mall is a post office. There is also an amusement "attraction", where you can come play with your friends (think laser tag, bowling, etc). Some larger malls have decorative fountains or artworks. A good "mural" can do wonders, but DO make sure the artists get paid. Look for community notice boards, where the public can put up posters for events or jobs or such.
And DO make sure that in your submission, you're using a title and description that highlights the specific POI, not the mall itself.PYLrulz-PGO

Depends.
Signage, artwork, play areas, or other special things (that are permanent features rather than something seasonal) would be ok in my book. Some generic looking entrance with nothing else around it would not be ok in my book.NianticCasey-ING

Hi folks,I agree with @0X00FF00-ING, @PYLrulz-PGO, @Gendgi-PGO - if there are unique, interesting or artistic features then those could be eligible (even like a hyper-local coffee shop at one of the entrances or something) but most things in a mall, and a mall overall, wouldn't necessarily be a good candidate under the generic business category.
Of course, as with many things, it would come down to the individual nomination itself, so take this with a grain of salt.
