ファーストサタデーの中止判断について

エージェントの皆さん、SARS-CoV-2の拡散を遅らせようと世界規模の取り組みが行われていることから、IFS-UNチームはナイアンティックと協議し、2020年04月期のファーストサタデーは全都市の中止を決定いたしました。
コミュニティで集うことがどれほど愉しいことかは承知していますが、私たちは皆さんと皆さんの愛する方々の健康と安全を保証したいと考えており、イベントの中止は私たちの誰もを、とりわけコミュニティの仲間たちを守る責任にもとづく判断です。自宅に待機し、人の集まる公共空間を避け、保健当局や世界保健機関の指示に従ってください。
こうした情勢にご理解いただき、ありがとうございます。

Agents,Due to the various efforts put in place all around the world to slow down as much as possible the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), the IFS-UN team together with Niantic have decided to cancel all April #IngressFS events.
While we know how much joy community gatherings can bring, we want to guarantee yours and your loved ones health and safety. Cancelling the events is the responsible move to protect us all, especially the most vulnerable people in our communities. We encourage you to stay home and avoid public spaces with large crowds, and to follow the directions given by your Health Departments as well as the World Health Organization.
We thank you for your understanding of the situation.

FS has been through good times and bad, we've even managed to seamlessly continue through Niantic's split with Google to run for 65 consecutive months. The fact we've had to cancel the first FS in 5 years just goes to show how much of a heavy decision we've had to make in the interest of everyone's health and safety.
