| 対象：オリバー・リントン=ウルフ 陣営：エンライテンド アーキタイプ：アルケミスト オリバー：いずれにせよ、そのヘリコプターがナイアンティック計画の研究施設へ向かう途で閃いたんだ、イングレス・スキャナーの開発につながる最初のインスピレーションをね。エックスエムの調査を効率よく進めるには、ヘリコプターから地上を眺めるように視認し、相互作用させる技術が必要に思えたのさ。その日の私はあたかも肉眼でポータルを視ることができるかのようだったのさ。CERNへ到着するまでには何をすべきかを理解していた。サラの指輪をカルビンに渡し、私は作業に着手したよ。当時のカルビンは指輪を欲した理由を明かそうとはしなかったが、どうしてそんなことを言うかわかるかい？そう、数日前のことになるが、カルビンがようやく指輪を求めていた理由を明かしてくれたのさ。カルビンは指輪をプライム・アーティファクトだと考えていた。装着すればポータルを視認できるようになるプライム・アーティファクトだとね。想像してくれよ、カルビンの言うことが正しいのであれば、CERNへ向かう途で私はポータルを視ることを想像したんじゃなく、実際に視ていたってことさ。あのときサラの指輪を手にしていたのは私だったんだからね。君たちもご存知のことだろうが、あれはそれを上回ることをもたらしたよ。私は過ちを犯したと言ったことはないし、本当に過ちを犯しちゃいないわけだが、プライム・アーティファクトについて知り得たことを考えるに、事実だったのかもしれないな。サラが何者だったのかはわからないし、どうして彼女がプライム・アーティファクトを持っていたのかも、そのプライム・アーティファクトがどうして9月のヘルベチカ・フィールドテストで出現しなかったのかもわからない。だが、このことは言っておこう。今後近い将来にテッセラとしてその指輪が出現することになっても驚くことはないってことさ。いずれカルビンはどのようにして知り得ていたか話さざるを得ないだろう、いずれはカルビンの口から明かさせるつもりだよ。 |

In any event, while the chopper was enroute to the Niantic Project facility, I had something of an epiphany. The first seeds of inspiration that would lead to the creation of the Ingress scanner. I realized that in order for us to be able to effectively study XM. We had to have technology that will allow us to see it to interact with it. Staring down at the earth from that helicopter, that day it was as if I could see the Portals of my own naked eyes. By the time we landed at CERN, I knew what I had to do. I gave the Sarah's ring to Calvin I went off to work. At the time, he never did tell me why he wanted that ring. Why am I even boring you with these information? Well, a few days ago, Calvin finally got around to telling me why he wanted the ring. He thinks it's a Prime Artifact. A Prime Artifact that allows a wielder to see XM Portals. Can you imagine that? If he's right, than I didn't just imagine seeing the Portals on my way to CERN that day, I actually did see them. Because Sarah's ring was in my possession at the time. And as you know, it probably does even more than that. I'm not saying that I made mistakes, I don't make mistakes. But given what we're learning about Prime Artifacts, maybe that was true. I'm not so sure who Sarah was, why she was in possession of a Prime Artifact or why the Prime Artifact was left out of Helvetica Field Test in September. Well, let's just say this. I wouldn't be surprise if we see the ring appearing as Tessera sometime soon. One day, Calvin's gonna have to tell me how he knows all things he knows. Because one day I'm gonna make him.
