CARRIE: Should we test our audio?
GERALD: Audio's great, I tested it before.
CARRIE: Super, should I speak louder?
GERALD: No.
CARRIE: Okay, great.
GERALD: Welcome to Austria,
CARRIE: Thank you
GERALD: Welcome to Linz and welcome to the 1218 universe - as we call it. To stay on the note of welcoming you to Linz, what is the purpose of your visit to Linz, the city specifically?
CARRIE: Simple, I come to Linz to help stop the signal coming through the XM. The concentration of XM here is extra high. I've been very impressed by the agents that are based here, and we'll be working together to stop the Signal.
GERALD: Thank you. Changing the topic on what your expertise is, originally the glyphs were called "Shaper Glyphs", but are they actually?
CARRIE: This a good question. A glyph is not exactly a language, it's more a reference to something more universal. I don't like to think of them as words. I believe they are communications between different intelligences, earthbound intelligences and non-earthbound, also artificial intelligences, ADA has been very interested in them. So if they come direct from the Shapers, I don't know, or are they a greater language that the Shapers wish to access - again, language *quotation mark gesture* is a tough term.
GERALD: With what purpose in mind do you think this "language" was designed? Or was it even designed?
CARRIE: I... again, I don't know who created it, I'm still going through my work trying to understand the intentions behind it so the purpose, I can't quite say. I do believe it's a signal so it's important for different parties to understand it. But I don't know yet.
GERALD: Thank you. We've been told by our Carrie that she's found the meaning to glyphs through visions. Would you like to share a few of your experiences on how you found meaning to glyphs?
CARRIE: Well, I'm a synesthetic. That means that if you hear music or certain sounds it induces often colors and I see even clearer visions the more that I'm exposed to XM, especially after being at the CERN lab. Those visions become very clear and again made it possible for me to be so clairvoyant as I would write down different measurements and often glyphs. And right. So I often work with Enoch Dalby, he's a musician, and at times I'm also seeing visions from sounds. I mentioned last night that there were crystals around a bar in our hotel that made lots of noise during the rain storm, it sent me into such a fervor of inspiration. Lately, ever since leaving the lab, I do my work at an apartment in Los Angeles, right, next to a construction zone, and I'm often hearing sounds from there as well. Yeah, music is a very big part of experiencing the measurements I'm able to curb.
GERALD: To stay on the topic for a moment, what music or what type of sound do you prefer when working? What inspires you the most?
CARRIE: Ah, ah. Well, Enoch's music has proved the most effective, and it was together we were brought onto the Niantic Project. But more and more again, I'll say I'm surprised by what sounds I find out in the world that inspire what I write down, but it's really Enoch's music that succeeds the most.
GERALD: Interesting. Our Carrie was discovered with glyphs drawn all over her body. What do you think she tried to do?
CARRIE: I've heard about this, Hank Johnson has informed me of this earlier universe. I was faced with the same moment that we're faced with today, that is a very, very grave serious moment. If we don't stop the signal that's coming through the XM at this anomaly, we could have dire consequences. Last time, I tried to take on this signal by offering a counter signal with glyphs all over my body on my own, and it was the end of me. So I'm very much interested in the agents help today to spread the burden of carrying these glyphs, and I think if we're able to go through all of the missions in the right time, we will be able to deflect and ultimately send a counter-signal that keeps me alive.
GERALD: I hope that it works.
CARRIE: I have faith. I have faith in the agents and that's why I've chosen Linz, because of the great sensitivity of the agents here.
GERALD: I've tried to do a bit of that myself by putting glyphs on what I wear.
CARRIE: Great work, thank you.
GERALD: Changing the topic a little bit, we are also interested in the November Lima Project, especially the new one. Is it possible for us or maybe for you to work on it? Is it classified?
CARRIE: I'm afraid that's classified information, yes.
GERALD: Thank you.
CARRIE: Thank you.
GERALD: Additionally, I have to thank you in the name of the Operation Essex and in the name of Project Lycaeum for doing this interview with us, and I wish you all success that you can possibly have in staying alive and succeeding in your research.
CARRIE: And you as well for the work you'll do today.
GERALD: Thank you
CARRIE: It's a pleasure, thank you for all of your reporting and your good work.
GERALD: Thank you
CARRIE: Thanks.
