今日、イングレスは私をウィラル沖にあるヒルブルク諸島へと導いてくれた。そこは地方自然保護区であり、河口域は特に興味深いものだ。徒歩で最南端のリトルアイへ向かい、そこから北のミドルアイ、そしてヒルブルク島へと赴いたよ。

私と相棒のシグマは干潮の1時間前に出立し、楽しい時間を過ごした。リトルアイのポータルは取り逃したものの、幾つかのポータルをキャプチャし、サンドイッチと水とを分け合ったよ。

Moel Famau 近郊にある英国陸地測量部の記念碑とタレイカーのアイル灯台とでフィールドを形成した。ウェスト・カービーからMoel Famau とヒルブル島とで形成した更なるフィールドは16,158 MUとなったよ。

BAFとは言わないが、充分に大きな報酬となった。チェスターまで逢いに来てくれて北ウェールズのキーを提供してくれたキャンベル・スミスには感謝しとかないとね。チェスターリバーサイドの連作ミッションをしたことで、レベル13要件となるスペック・オプスのゴールドとレベル16要件となるトレッカーのプラチナを手に入れたから、あとはアクションポイントを稼ぐだけだよ。

Today, Ingress took me to the Hilbre Islands, off the Wirral coast. They are a Local Nature Reserve and are within the estuary Site of Special Scientific Interest. The walk takes you to the southernmost Little Eye, then north to Middle Eye, then on to Hilbre Island itself.

Me and my walking buddy (Sygma) set out an hour before low tide, and made good time. Once there, we captured some portals (though I missed the portal on Little Eye) and shared a sandwich and a bottle of water.

The fields thrown went out to the Ordnance Survey onument near Moel Famau and the Point of Ayr Lighthouse (Lighthouse at Talacre). An additional field from West Kirby to Meol Famau and Hilbre Island made for a total of 16,158 MU.

It's no BAF, but massively rewarding.

Thanks go to +Campbell Smith for the keys for North Wales, and for meeting up with me in Chester. Doing the Chester Riverside walk banner, by the way, got me gold SpecOps (L13 req) and platinum Trekker (L16 req), so it's simply an AP grind now. :)
