テクトゥルフ・モジュールに関連した記録書を手に入れることができたよ。この断片は技術的なもので興味深くはあるものの、我々の調査に必ずしも有用というわけではない。しかしながら、調査の価値ある実験記録だ。

テクトゥルフの本質的な原理は実に単純なもののようで、自活したエックスエム転導の生成にある。実際のところは、センシティブ独自の精神状態と世界の量子的状態との共振によって定義される安定部位だ。

実際のところは極めて困難なものであり、微塵も揺るがぬ精神集中を行う自制心が求められる。些細なエックスエムの揺らぎによるエネルギーの逆流が装置の中核であるエクソジェナス経路を阻害してしまうのだ。

歴史的にみて、原初のテクトゥルフは巨大なエックスエム・レンズに過ぎぬもので、コヒーレンスの増幅を行うにもその準備に儀式が必要となった。

このような知見にもとづき、モイヤー・テクトゥルフの残骸から発見された部品を活用することで、次世代型テクトゥルフ・モジュールの構築に既存のマイクロプロセッサ規格を用いている。リントン=ウルフは、厄介で誤りの起きやすい儀式を信頼性の高い機械による増幅へと置き換えた。個別論理により小型のエックスエム・レゾネーターは創造者の精神に同期するのだ。

このようにして、エックスエム転導の制御は確実なものとなり、新たなポータルが次元構造を踏破してマグナスのアノマラスゾーンを形成していくのだ。

テクトゥルフ・モジュールは、アノマラスゾーンがこの次元層で安定化していく可能性を測定すると、自律的に終了するよう設計されている。実のところアノマラスゾーンは危険性が高く、研究に更なる成果があるまで、こういった安全対策に変更が加えられるべきではない。

The essence of the Tecthulhu seems simple in principle - create a self-sustaining XM vergence; a stable slice in reality defined by the resonance between a Sensitive's uniquely tuned mind and the quantum state of the universe.

It is monstrously difficult in practice, requiring immense discipline from the focusing mind, which cannot waver for even an instant. Energy feedback from the smallest XM instabilities would be crippling to the Exogenous pathway at the center of the device.

Historically, the primitive Tecthulhus were little more than immense XM lenses, requiring tremendous preparatory ritual in Order to initiate, let alone sustain, even the briefest coherence surges.

Dr. Lynton-Wolfe's genius was in recognizing how modern signal processing could be applied - not only to stabilize the circuit - but to enhance the effect by several orders of magnitude.

Building on this legacy, using fragments discovered in the ruins of the Moyer Tecthulhu, we are utilizing off the shelf microprocessor platforms in the construction of the next-gen Tecthulhu Modules.
Lynton-Wolfe's methodology replaces the burdensome and error-prone arcane rituals with reliable machine-enhanced amplification. Discrete logic synchronizes a small XM Resonator with the living, focusing minct of the creator or creators.

In this manner, the control and direction of the XM vergence can be reliable executed -- a nascent Portal breaks through the dimensional fabric and a MAGNUS Anomalous Zone begins to form.

The Tecthulhu modules are designed to spontaneously self-terminate if measurements indicate that the Anomalous Zone may stabilize in this dimensional layer. Anomalous zones are inherently high-risk, and until further research is conducted these internal safeguards should not be modified or removed.
