「これが我々の末路ということだろうか。」「そうではないでしょう、まだこれからなのです...私たちはさだめに導かれし者、リーミナの囁きに選ばれし者なのです。私たちは再び戻ってくることでしょう。」

内容：

「男たちは消え去っていた。何もかもが消え去っていた。屹立していた建造物は大地へと還り、風雨に洗われていた。空は瞬くが如く明滅し、地上には建造物も人も採掘場も最早残されてはいないようだった。そこには何もなく、緩やかに時が流れ過ぎ去っていった。採掘場から湧き上がる霧が立ち込めるこの地へ他の男たちが現れた。

ひとりの男がやってきた。男は見たことのない短剣を携え、思案に暮れていた。我々がその場を離れると、またもや霧が濃くなっていき、そして転移していった。

そして此度訪れたのは地下であった。身震いしてシビュラは言った。「此処は忌わしき地です」と。白衣をまとった男たちがいた。そして黒衣の男たちは魔術の類に臨んでいるようだったが、何が行われているのか私にはほとんど理解が及ばなかった。我々の眼前には巨大な金属の円柱が横たわっていた。そして、何かが海から浮かび上がってきたのだ。「あれはシーモンスター...幾多の生命が失われることでしょう。あの者らは邪な目的にリーミナを用いたのです。」

光の瞬きが起きた。刻と空間とが混濁し、我々は虚空の内にいたのだ。そこにあるのは闇。一切の音もなく、何の変哲もなかった。私はシビュラへ言った。「これが我々の末路ということだろうか。」

「そうではないでしょう、まだこれからなのです...私たちはさだめに導かれし者、リーミナの囁きに選ばれし者なのです。私たちは再び戻ってくることでしょう。」

"Is this the end of our journey?" "No. It will continue... We are being led for a purpose. The voices in the līmina have chosen to speak to us. We will be returned."

Transcript:

They vanished. All vanished. The buildings rotted into the earth, scoured with wind and rain. The sky flickered faster. The ground looked as if there had never been buildings and people and mines. There was nothing. Time slowed. Other men were drawn to this place by the glowing mist that rose from the mine site.

A man came. He carried a strange knife. He pondered. We left. Again the mist grew. And again we were transported.

This time, we were underground in what I hope to be a future time. Cybella shuddered. "This is a place of evil." Men with long white tunics. Men in black uniforms appeared to be committing some act of sorcery, but I understood little of what I saw. A large metal cylinder lay before us, then it swam into the ocean. "It is a sea monster," Cybella said, "Many will die. They have used the līmina for evil."

There was a flash of light. Time and space seemed to merge and we were in an absolute void. Darkness. Soundless. Featureless. I said to Cybella: "Is this the end of our journey?"
