私の懸念していたとおり、ひき続き工作員たちはハンク・ジョンソンの捜索任務を継続している。

ハンクよ、私は心配はしていない。彼と地球上で動作するゲームを知る全ての者たちは、危機を自覚している。彼らはそれを世界の一部と受け入れている。

あの民間人はヤーハンといったか、彼女は嵐の中心にいるに相応しくないだろう。

ロラゾン： 我々は現地勢力および敵対的企業と思われる妨害によって動きを封じたれた。

カルビン： 私は撤退を指示したはずだ。他の要員を残してきたのか？

ロラゾン： 後退ってのは非常に困難だ。だから無理だってんだ。

カルビン： 我々が権利を行使するにはちょうどいい、彼らのことはヒューロン・グローバル社に被ってもらおう。我々は本作戦に限らず、回収せねばならない。

ロラゾン： あなたは開戦を望んでいないものと思っていた。

カルビン： 我々が関与する戦争は望んでいないさ。撤退してハンクか民間人の痕跡を見つけ出すのだ。

グラス： 興味深いことに気づいた。スミスの軍勢はハンク・ジョンソンの追跡よりも他勢力との戦闘を優先させていたようだ。

イリヤ： そのことがスミスの忠誠心が本当は誰にあるのかを物語っていますね。

グラス： そのとおりだ。しかし、今までの通信傍受資料ではその名は改ざんされてしまっていた。

イリヤ：スミスがキャサリン・ファン以外の誰かに呼応していることは明らかです。

グラス： キャサリン・ファンに心当たりがあれば、困らせてやれたものを。

イリヤ： スミスを注視しなさい、彼が手掛かりを掴むかもしれません。撃ってはなりませんよ。

グラス： なぜだ？このような機会はそうそう訪れるものではないぞ。

イリヤ： 真の目標が明らかとなるまで引き金を引いてはなりません。

As I feared, corporate operatives remain on task to find +Hank Johnson.

Hank, I'm not worried about. He and every other operative on the ground know the game, they know the risk. They accept it as part of their world.

The civilian, Jahan, however, does not deserve to become the center of a firestorm.

COMINT//MULTIPLE SIGNAL INTERCEPTS - ******************

LORAZON: We were pinned down  by an assortment of what I believe to be local forces and corporate hostiles.

CALVIN: I had instructed you to withdraw. Did you leave any men behind?

LORAZON: It's damn hard to withdraw with bodies over our shoulders, but no.

CALVIN: Good if we play this right, they'll blame Hulong. We have to salvage what we can out of this operation.

LORAZON: I thought you didn't want to start a war.

CALVIN: I didn't want to start a war that we're involved in. Retreat further and see if you can pick up Hank or the civilian's scent.

GLAS: I noticed something curious. Smith's forces seemed more conserned about fighting other groups than tracking Johnson.

ILYA: Then it seems we know who Smith's real loyalties are to.

GLAS: Yeah. But his name is redacted on all known intercepts.

ILYA: We know that Smith is responding to somebody other than Fan.

GLAS: If I know anything about Fan, that's going to get under her skin.

ILYA: Keep watching Smith, he may pick up a scent. Do not take the shot.

GLAS: Why not? I won't get this chance again soon.

ILYA: Never pull the trigger until you know you have the right target.
