我々の友、エノク・ダルビーが新たな楽曲とそこに埋め込んだ秘密を発表した。だが、私にはその答えを探し出すことはできていない。
歌に響くその声は馴染みあるもので、イングレス界における陣営のルーツとなる根本的な論争の核心への問い掛けとなっている。
果たしてシェイパーを除いた種としての我々とは何なのだろうか？我々が自然環境を克服したのは外因によるものだったのだろうか？その改変はどこまで遡るものなのだろうか？エイダとハンク・ジョンソンが今なお科学技術の及ばぬ力を有するエンシェント・アーティファクトを探し求めているのであれば、そのポータルとは我々を増強させているものなのだろうか、それとも我々の自由を制限しているものなのだろうか。古代人の掴んでいた運命から我々を遠ざけていたのだろうか？

New music from our friend +enoch dalby, and hidden within it, a question that I've never been able to find the answer for.
The voices that emerge from within the song are familiar, the question they pose is so fundamentally contentious that it forms the root of the ideological faction in the world of +Ingress.
Would we be where we are as a species without the Shapers? Is our domination of the natural environment the result of external manipulation? How far back does the change go? If ADA and +Hank Johnson are in pursuit of Ancient Artifacts that may contain powers that even now science holds elusive, are the Portals enhancing us or crippling us... holding us back from a destiny that the ancients held in their grasp?
