歓迎しよう、エノク・ダルビー。君のことはいろいろと耳にしてきたが、ようやく君自身から声をあげてくれたね。

この調査を開始して以来、伝え聞くだけの存在であったが、ようやくエノクがデジタル世界で確認できた。更に、シアトルで発生するサーティーンマグナス・アノマリーでは物質世界に姿を現わすようだ。

現地のエージェントは、彼の演奏を直接聴くという特別な機会を得るようだね。実に羨ましい限りだ。

音楽とはもともとが個人的な感性によるものだが、彼が最初に紹介してくれた作品に私は感動させられたよ。「エレジー」と題されたその作品は、彼の佳きパートナーでありかけがえのないエックスエム研究者であった人物、オペレーション・カサンドラに伴う混乱の中、奇妙な状況で悲劇的な死を迎えたキャリー・キャンベルに捧げた曲だった。その曲は、エノク・ダルビーのページで聴くことができるよ。

エノクのサウンドクラウドへ調査員のひとりが次のように綴っている。「キャリーは自らが何をしているかも、何をすべきかもわからずにいた。彼女は勇気を奮い起こし、なんとかやり遂げようとしていた。最近のことや幸福なときのことのみならず、不安なことや過去のことも回想される。キャリーは偉業を成し遂げようと日々を研究に費やした。その全てが霞んでいこうとしている。彼女は眠りに落ち、情報のリボンを身にまとわせつつ暗い回廊の先へと歩み進む夢を見る。はじめは良かったが、やがて混沌となる、次第に次第に混沌は深まる。そして唐突に、暗く濁る海に沈みゆく岩の如くに、彼女は消え去った。それがこの曲から受けた私の印象だ。」

私の名はエノク・ダルビーという。

説明できることは限られているのだが...ご存知のとおり、最近まで私はナイアンティック計画に携わっていた。キャリー・キャンベルの死は、私にとって辛く悲しいことであった。

私の音楽が鍵であるならば、彼女は錠であった。さまざまな想いを込め、音楽で彼女を悼むとしよう。彼女の魂は音楽であり、私がそれを広めよう。

ゆっくりとお楽しみいただきたい。10月26日にシアトルのソールリペアショップでお会いするのを心待ちにしている。

Bienvenue, +enoch dalby, we've heard so much about you, now we finally hear you.

After remaining an almost mythical figure since the beginning of this Investigation, Enoch has emerged into the digital world, and what's more, it appears he intends to emerge into the physical one as well at the Seattle #13MAGNUS Anomaly.

Agents on the ground there will have a unique opportunity to hear him perform in person. I'm envious.

Music is an intensely personal thing, but I'm personally quite moved by the first piece he's chosen to share with us. Entitled 'elegy,' it's a composition dedicated to his soul-mate and cherished XM researcher +Carrie Campbell, who died tragically and under mysterious circumstances in the fallout of Operation #Cassandra . An Investigator on his Soundcloud page wrote: "Carrie is unsure about what she is doing or supposed to do, she tries to be brave and do it anyway. A flashback to something recent and happy but also dark and past. Carrie spends night upon night of research before she does her feat. It begins to all blur together. She fades asleep. She dreams about walking through a dark corridor, ribbons of information swirling around her. It's nice at first then gets chaotic. More and more chaos. Then pop, it all just fades like she is a rock sinking into the dark murky waters of the ocean. Thats what I got from the song."

My name is Enoch Dalby.

Some things can only be expressed in words... As is well known, I was a member of the Niantic Project until recently. I mourn the death of +Carrie Campbell, who was many things to me. If my music was a key, she was the lock. A sensitive in many ways, I mourn her in music.

Her spirit is the world's music, and I will share it here.
