両陣営がポートランドで接触しようとする中でレジスタンス・エージェントたちの制作した映像を観る機会を得たよ。彼等は「精神を解放せよ」と訴えている。
TerramAlWathani といったエンライテンド・エージェントの熱意あふれる言葉を思い出させるものだ。
両陣営のエージェントが説得力のある主張を交わしているね。

| レジスタンス・エージェントよ。同胞諸君よ、我々は自らの精神を自らのものとすべきだろうか、それとも他者へ明け渡すべきなのだろうか。この疑問の根底にあるのは個性という概念と自己決定、そして人間であることの意味にあるのだ。シェイパーは我々とは異なる存在だが、それが悪いのではない。断じてレジスタンスは外来の存在に対する嫌悪で以て行動すべきではない。我々は未知なる存在を畏怖すべきではないが、盲目的に受け入れるべきでもないということだ。シェイパーを受け入れるか、それとも拒絶するのかを選択するより前に、まずはシェイパーの性質を理解せねばならない。我々には解消せねばならない極めて深刻な懸念が残されている。具体的に挙げれば、それは国家情報局によるマインドハックやシェイパーマインドウィルスの問題だ。こうしたことやシェイパーの真意がはっきりするまで、レジスタンスはエンライテンドの取り組みに反対の立場を取り続けることになるだろう。我々は賛同なしにマインドハックやウィルスに晒され得ることを正しいとは思えない。敢えて危険を冒そうと言うのであれば、エンライテンドの陣営に加わるといい。我々は諸君もまた仲間たる人類であると敬意を忘れることはないが、諸君のコントロール・フィールドは破壊することをご承知おき願いたい。諸君のポータルは接収させてもらうし、諸君のエックスエムは消費させてもらう。そしてレジスタンスは侵略者といったあらゆる脅威から人類を守り抜いていくだろう。これをご覧の諸君に訴えたい。レジスタンスの陣営へ加わってほしい。精神を解放させようではないか。 |

As the two factions prepare to meet in Portland, I came across this video created by a group of Resistance agents. Their message: "Free your mind."
I'm reminded of the impassioned words of Enlightened Agents such as TerramAlWathani.
Agents from both camps make a compelling case.

A MESSAGE FROM THE RESISTANCE
Free Your MindRESISTANCE AGENT: Fellow humans, should we own our minds, or give them to others? At the heart of this question, lies the concepts of individuality, self determination, and the very definition of what it means to be human. The Shapers are not like us. This is not a bad thing, for the Resistance should never practice xenophobia. But just as we should not fear the unknown, nor should we blindly embrace it. We must understand the nature of the Shapers before choosing to accept or reject them. We have very serious concerns that must be addressed. Most particularly, that of the NIA's mind-hacking and the Shaper mind virus. Until such time when these factors and the intentions of the Shapers are clearly defined, the Resistance will continue to oppose the efforts of the Enlightened. We do not believe it right to expose human beings to the possibility of mind-hacking or viruses without their consent. If you want to run that risk, join the Enlightened. We will continue to respect you as fellow humans, but know that your Control Fields will be taken down. Your Portals will be seized. Your XM will be consumed. And know that the Resistance will continue to protect humanity from all threats - alien or otherwise. For those listening, I urge you... Join the Resistance. Free your mind.
