Susanna Moyer: This week on the Ingress Report, Rome falls, an Austrian agent takes to the skies, a New York Times bestselling author Thomas Greanias talks about his new book.
Welcome to the Ingress Report, I'm Susanna Moyer. In Rome last week enlightened agents carried out one of the largest events in the history of Ingress, Operation Tabula Rasa. During the March 24th campaign, the city's enlightened led by agents Affrendy, Barlow, Kinetic and others, reportedly claimed over 500 portals, turning the historic city green. At the conclusion of the event, the factions reported over 95% of rooms portals as belonging to the Enlightened.
Elsewhere across the globe in Sydney, Australia, high level members of both the Enlightened and Resistance have come together to create the Hyde Park treaty, establishing a training ground for new agents from both factions. Agents in cities and counties around the globe are looking to the Hyde Park group as an example to inspire similar agreements.
Globally, the Resistance long standing control once leading by more than 64 million mind unit has drastically fallen in large part due to the Egyptian Enlightened taking down the massive field there. The Resistance lost over 53 million Mind Units on March 22nd alone. Though enlightened fields are appearing worldwide territory between the factions is at a near dead heat. Agent "file": Enlightened agent "file" reporting. See, Resistance have been given us a run for our money, they started putting up their level eight portals and all. They just started going in mass and we just cannot these things down fast enough.

In tech news the scanner update to client version 1.22.0 has leaked the much anticipated power cube to the world of Ingress. Created by Niantic Dr. Oliver Lynton-Wolfe the device is believed to store XM in a way previously unavailable to the public. And in Austria, Enlightened agent Cenobite has created a quadrocopter prototype intended to remotely attack enemy portals.
Agent Cenobite: If you discover activity from the Resistance, you can immedately respond using bursters to neutralize the portals. The strategic oppotunities are huge...the only restraint is battery life. Agents! Think about what technology the Shapers will bring us in the future.
Susanna Moyer: By now, many of you have likely heard about the new book, the 'Alignment' by New York Times bestselling author Thomas Greanias. He joins us now live to discuss. Mr.Greanias, what is the synopsis of your book?

We see this as an opportunity for Agents to test new tactics on their own. It is not a mandate. A treaty can be an interesting idea, but this area will not be immune to Agents who are unaware a treaty has been made (or those who renege). We do not want to see Agents chastise someone for reclaiming Portals, creating a link, or establishing a field. Those who wish to sign a treaty should realize that they will need to work together with those involved to manage it.Ingress
