2010年10月19日にヒンドゥークシュ山脈内座標 XXXXXXX で発生した事件に関するホランド・ヘンリー・ジョンソンの報告

事件当時、心理作戦のエキスパートであるジョンソンはワシントンD.C.に本社を置く心理作戦と非対称型情報戦を取り扱う民間企業、IQテック社によって派遣されていたことに留意せねばならない。IQテック社は過去2年間にわたってアフガニスタンにおいて表だって活動しており、国防総省とも様々な業務委託契約を交わしている。

調査で明らかとなっていることには、ジョンソンは XXXXXXX 作戦で帰還に失敗、その後2010年10月16日14時31分に行方不明と判定された。その夜に部隊長は司令部広域警報を発令したが、その後の陸空での創作活動も不首尾に終わっている。

10月19日の午後、ジョンソンは第3ストライカー戦闘旅団所属機によって山脈地帯Z48 XXXXXXX の低地草原地帯において発見された。混乱がみられ、重度の脱水症状と低体温症に陥っていた。ユスフザイ族の民族衣装を身に纏っていたが、XXXXXXX といった装備品は身に着けておらず、回収されていない。

また、鑑定のため送付した XXXXXXX を含め、所持品には非常に多くの珍しい人工物があった。

最初の現地接見

次のインタビューは2010年10月21日にアフガニスタン北東部に位置するヌリスタン州の前線偵察基地において記述されたものである。ジョンソンは精神科医のポール・ヘルマンの報告により聴取に応じている。

Re: Debrief of Contractor Holland Henry Johnson regarding an incide coordinates XXXXXXX Hindu Kush Mountains on 19 October 2010.

It should be noted that at the time of the event, PsyOps Expert Johnson was attached to IQTech Corporation, a private Washington D.C. based contractor specializing in psychological Operations and Asymmetric Information Warfare. IQT has been operating publically in Afghanistan for two years, contracting with the Department of Defense in assorted operations.

FILE 17E-387-N: FACTS OF THE CASE

The known facts of the investigation include the following details. Johnson was declared Missing in Action at 14:31 on 16 October 2010 after failing to return from operation XXXXXXX. A Command Wide Alert was issued by the Unit Chief that evening. and subsequent land and air searches were unsuccessful.

On the afternoon of 19 October, Johnson was discovered by a unit from the 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team along the lower steppes of mountain range Z48 XXXXXXX He was disoriented and suffering from severe dehydration and exposure. Johnson was wearing Yusufzai trival clothes. His field gear, including XXXXXXX was not with him and was not recovered.

In addition, a number of unusual artifacts were discovered in his possession, including XXXXXXX which have been sent to XXXXXXX for further evaluation.

FIRST FIELD INTERVIEW

The following interview was transcribed on 21 October 2010 at Forward Reconnaissance Base Keyhole, in the Nuristan Province of Northeastern Afghanistan. Johnson was cleared for debrief by psychiatrist Dr. Paul Helman.

The interview was conducted by myself (Lt. Colonel J. Michael Montgomery), and two other officers (1st Lt. Felix Rollins and XXXXXXX All statements here have been corroborated by the sworn testimony of all witnesses present.

Mr. Azmati. An antiquities dealer from Kabil.
