ハンク・ジョンソンがCERNの研究施設を出て次回の「ノマド」撮影を行う際は監視を命じているが、あくまで距離を置いて監視するに留めよ。撮影を妨げることなく、あくまで彼に脅威が迫ったと判断した場合にのみ彼とは接触するのだ。

この監視の目的はナイアンティック計画の妨害やジョンソンからの情報入手をもくろむ現地住民や政府機関若しくは集団によって彼が危機に直面した場合の救済措置である。

ジョンソンは元特殊部隊員であり、彼自身も熟練した技能を備えていることには留意せよ。彼にベビーシッターは不要だ。ジョンソンの脅威となり得る重大な活動については逐次報告せよ。

また、彼を監視しているのは君だけでない可能性もある。彼を監視する他の人物に気づかれないよう留意せよ。別の監視を把握した場合には、関心が競合する配信事業といった商業的なものなのか、現地の遺跡管理機関や盗掘集団といった国家的なものなのか、それとも我々との関連性の強い競合する諜報機関や科学技術機関なのかの特定を試みてくれたまえ。

Agent Rosier,

I am directing you to surveil Hank Johnson as he leaves the CERN FACILITY to record footage for his upcoming television pilot, "NOMAD". You are merely to observe him from a distance. You are not to in any way impede his production and are only to interface with him if you detect a threat to him.

The purpose of this surveillance is to offer stand-off protection should he encounter any difficulties from locals, or other governments or entities that might wish to either hinder the Niantic Project or extract information from Mr. Johnson.

Be aware that Johnson is ex-Special Forces and extremely adept at taking care of himself. He does not need a babysitter. I expect you to report back from time to time and to report any significant activity that might be a threat to Mr. Johnson.

Also be aware that you might not be the only one surveilling him and should take care to avoid being spotted by anybody else potentially attempting to observe him. If you do find that he is being watched, please try and discover the nature of their interests, be it commercial (a competing network) or, national (for instance local antiquities agencies or site robbers) or more relevantly, a competing intelligence or scientific agency.
