【インタビュー】シンガポールのオリバー・リントン＝ウルフ
#CassandraPrime 2日目にシンガポールを訪れていた、オリバー・リントン＝ウルフにエージェント +Bamboo がインタビューしてくれました！プライム次元からやって来たオリバーの、 ~~(たぶん)初めての~~ インタビューです。(追記：初インタビューはナヴァロのエピファニー・ナイトでしたね・・・)

日本語字幕を担当させていただきましたが、オリバーの人柄、そしてちょっとだけプライムの世界を垣間見る事ができる非常に興味深い内容になっています。(翻訳超たのしかったｗ)2本立てになっていますので、ぜひ両方御覧ください。

バンブー：あなたが資金提供を求めている研究とは何なのでしょうか。
オリバー：まず私は資金を必要としている、そのことは知っているんだね？
バンブー：そうです。

オリバー：人々はエックスエムを危険と見做している、そうだね？そして私がどう考えているかもご存知だね？
バンブー：はい、どのようにお考えですか？

オリバー：私は可能性を秘めていると考えているよ、より大きな可能性を秘めているとね。そう、極めて重要なことがあるんだ。知ってのとおり、私は常々そういった質問にはこう答えてきたね、君にとってどのように役立つと思うかい？
バンブー：とても難しいですね。それでは、エックスエムにあなたの求めてるものがあるのでしょうか。

オリバー：エックスエムのことはわかってるさ...ひとつ確認しておこうか、エックスエムに曝露したとき君はどういったことに気づいたかい？何が起きたのかな？
バンブー：私自身に起こったことですか、少々積極的に、そしていくらか知的にもなった気がしますが、うまく言い表せませんね。

オリバー：構わないさ、わかるかい、それこそが我々の言っていることだよ。本来から君自身の内にあるもの、それを高めるものを探究しているのさ。わかっていると思うが、私は地上において三指に入る賢人だ。手に入れれば、並び立つ者なき賢人となるだろうね。

バンブー：それでは、列ができていますのでそろそろ失礼せねばなりません。最後の質問としますが、あなたはキャリーの生存を望まれますか？
オリバー：キャリーはとても美しいね。
バンブー：そうですね。

オリバー：彼女は非常に頭の切れる女性だとは思うが、知ってのとおり知見があるわけではない。彼女は科学を解釈する側に過ぎないわけだ。
バンブー：そうですね。

オリバー：答えになったかな？
バンブー：いいえ、答えにはなっていませんね、まあいいでしょう、ありがとうございました。
オリバー：どういたしまして。

バンブー：次の質問です。あなたとこの世界とはどのようなつながりがあるのでしょうか。あなたの世界とは異なるのでしょうか。
オリバー：そうだね、良い質問だ。君はどう思うかい？
バンブー：ええと、私たちの世界の方が少しばかりゆっくりだとあなたは言われましたね。
オリバー：そうだ、それは事実だよ。

バンブー：それでは、それはどうしてなのでしょうか、答えは何なのでしょうか、そのようなことが起きた理由とは？
オリバー：これは氷山の一角に思えるときがあるね。君たちの世界から私の世界へ誰かが訪れなかったのはどうしてだろう？我々の世界は少しばかり速く進んでいる、いいかい？その流れが乱れて私はここへやってきたんだ、わかるかい？ここに私の必要なものがあるってことさ。

バンブー：なるほど、それでは次の質問です。何かしら私たちの世界のオリバーへ伝えるとすれば？顔を覆い隠していた人物ですよ。
オリバー：無論、彼の悪評は耳にしているさ。彼はしくじってしまったからね。
バンブー：深刻な失態でしたね。
オリバー：彼に言うとしたら「私には関わってくれるな」となるかな。私には必要とするものがあるわけだが、どうやら彼は手に入れられなかったようだ。私はそれを自ら手に入れなければならないのさ、そうだろう？

バンブー：そうですね、そのとおりです。それでは、あなたはテクトゥ...あなたはどのようにしてテクトゥ...すみません、発音が難しいですね。
オリバー：テクトゥルフかい？
バンブー：そうです。
オリバー：私がどう考えているのか、と訊ねたいのかい？
バンブー：ええと、それについてあなたの意見を。

オリバー：エックスエムを制御し得るデバイスだ。私は最強のテクトゥルフを探し出そうとしているわけさ。君も持っているかい？
バンブー：いいえ、バイオカードならたくさん持っていますよ。

オリバー：バイオカードはいいんだ、私はテクトゥルフを欲している。
バンブー：そうですか、すみません。

オリバー：この近辺にもあると聞いたんだがね。
バンブー：本当ですか？
オリバー：ああ、そうとも。
バンブー：私たちがアノマリーに勝利すれば手に入れることが適うかもしれませんね。
オリバー：そうかもしれないね。

バンブー：本当ですか？それでは、いい質問がありますよ。あなたは世界征服を目論んでいるのでしょうか、だとすればどちらの世界なのでしょうか。
オリバー：そうだね、まずは金だ、そうだろう？
バンブー：そうですね、あなたは多くの資金を必要としています。
オリバー：金が必要だ、研究を達成させるための金がね。そうすればようやく目的の話ができる。世界にはポーカーと呼ばれるゲームがあるだろう。
バンブー：はい。
オリバー：ポーカーはするかい？
バンブー：ええ、しますよ。
オリバー：終わってもいないのに、手の内を晒したことがあるかい？
バンブー：ないですね。
オリバー：ないのかい？どうして？
バンブー：何をお聞きになりたいのですか？
オリバー：君は私の最終的な目的が何かを訊ねているんだろう？
バンブー：はい。
オリバー：ゲームが終わってもいないのに、どうして君に明かさなきゃならないんだってことさ。
バンブー：ああ。
オリバー：そうだろう？
バンブー：そのとおりですね。そろそろ行かなければ、次の予定が詰まっているようです。煩わせてしまって申し訳ありません。
オリバー：別に煩わしくはないさ。
バンブー：ありがとうございます。
オリバー：また逢おうじゃないか。

Agent Bamboo: (What) are your research plans if you can get the founding you're looking for?

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Well, first of all I have to get the funding, you know that? Right?

Agent Bamboo: Yeah.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: People deem XM as dangerous, right? You know what I think?

Agent Bamboo: Yeah. What do you think?

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: I think it has possibilities that can be utilizad, can be utilizad for something bigger, something more profound. Yeah, Yeah, it's very important work. You know, one of the things I always say to people that ask me that question is what do you think it's usefull for you?

Agent Bamboo: That's very deep. OK, then, do you have a particular aspect of XM that you want to have?

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: I know XM ...let me ask you a question, when you are, when you are exposed to XM yourself, what results have you seen? What has happened to you when you are exposed?

Agent Bamboo: ... has happened to me? I guess I have become a little bit more aggressive and a little bit more intelligent but I can't say that.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Yeah. You see? So, that's basically what we're saying. We're taking what's already in you are making it stronger, right? As you know, I'm one of the three smartest people on Earth. If I take it, I might go to number one.

Agent Bamboo: OK. I guess, there's the queue there, so we are going. I'll go for the last question. Alright, do you want Carrie to survive?

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: I think Carrie is very beautiful.

Agent Bamboo: Yeah.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: She thinks she's pretty smart but, of course, you know, she's not educated. She's just some person that interprets science.

Agent Bamboo: Yeah.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Does that answer the question?

Agent Bamboo: No, you're not answering but ... I can take that. Yeah, alright. OK. Thank you for that.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: You're welcome.

Agent Bamboo: Next question. How is your linking to this Universe? Is it too different from your own one?

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Hmm, that's a good question. What do you think?

Agent Bamboo: Uh, you're told me that our Universe is a little bit slower than yours.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Yes, that's true.

Agent Bamboo: Then, why? What might be the answer? What might be the reason of this happening?

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Sometimes I feel like this is one of the things. Why didn't someone from your Universe come to my Universe? Our Universe is moving a little faster. Alright? So the flow is going down, and that's why I came over here. Right? Right? There's also something here that I need.

Agent Bamboo: OK. Then, next question. Do you have a message for or massage to the Oliver from our Universe? The one who was hiding his face.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Well he's given me a bad reputation already, of course, because he screwed up.

Agent Bamboo: He screwed up so seriously.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: So, I have a massage; just stay out of my way. I need things I need something and he doesen't seem to be able to get it, so I gotta get it myself. Right?

Agent Bamboo: Yeah, and I agree with you. And then, how do you consider Tecthu ... something Tecthu ... how do you consider Tecthu ... oh sorry, I can't pronounce this.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: The Tecthulhu? How do I consider it?

Agent Bamboo: Hmm, what do you mean? What's your opinion about it?

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Well it's a device that can that can harness XM. I want the strongest Tecthulfu I can find. Do you have one?

Agent Bamboo: No, we have so many biocards.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: I don't care about biocards, I want Tecthulhu.

Agent Bamboo: Sorry, OK, yeah.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: I heard there is one nearby.

Agent Bamboo: Oh really?

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Yeah.

Agent Bamboo: If we win this Anomaly, you might get it.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Maybe, maybe.

Agent Bamboo: Really? Oh then, a very good question. Are you aiming for world conquest? If so, which world?

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Well, first of all, I need money. Right?

Agent Bamboo: Yeah, you need so many funding.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: I need money, I need money to get my research done, and then we can talk about my goals eventually. You see, there's a game in my Universe called poker.

Agent Bamboo: OK.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Do you play poker?

Agent Bamboo: Yeah, I do.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: You ever given your hand up before it's the end of the game?

Agent Bamboo: No.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: No? Why?

Agent Bamboo: Why are you asking that?

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: You are asking me what my end of my goal is?

Agent Bamboo: Yeah

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Why would I give that to you before the end of the game?

Agent Bamboo: Oh, right.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Yep.

Agent Bamboo: Well, I'll better go. There's the time for other's activity. There you are. Sir, sorry for bothering you so much.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: How are you bothering me?

Agent Bamboo: Thank you.

Oliver Lynton-Wolfe: Nice to see you again.
