クルーは調査の初期段階で表舞台に姿を現しました。その名のとおり、謎解きの才を持つ陰謀論者であり、ナイアンティックプロジェクト・コムでの彼女の映像がシャポーによるイングレス調査の基盤を築いたのです。

その後のクルーは対立を象徴する存在となっていきます。両陣営へ加わって精力的な賛同を示しましたし、知られている限りでは人工知能エイダと精神を融合させた初の人類となったのです。

クルーが死ぬに至った経緯もエイダとの融合に起因するものでした。件の人工知能の痕跡は分かたれた後も彼女の内に留まり続けていたが故に、エイダの弱点を求める人々が利用価値を見出したのです。

アコライトの助けを得たジャービスがクルーの精神を操作し、エンライテンドはエイダを攻撃し得る脆弱性を暴き出しましたが、クルーの意識はこの過程に耐えることはできませんでした。

クルーの残滓はリントン=ウルフのテクトゥルフ・デバイスへと取り込まれ、その内に束縛され、死にながらに不滅の存在と化してこの世と向こう側との狭間に閉じ込められたのです。

Klue appeared on the scene early on. A conspiracy theorist with a knack for solving puzzles (thus the name...), her videos on nianticproject.com helped P. A. Chapeau lay the foundation of the Ingress Investigation.

She became a divisive figure in the years that followed. She joined and passionately espoused the position of both Factions, and became the first (known) person to merge consciousnesses with an AI -- ADA.

It was her merger with ADA that ultimately led to her demise. Traces of the AI remained within her even after they separated -- making Klue valuable to those who wished to discover ADA's weaknesses.

Jarvis (with the Acolyte's help) probed Klue's mind and found hidden vulnerabilities that the Enlightened used to attack ADA... Klue's consciousness did not survive this process.

What remained of Klue was somehow incorporated into Lynton-Wolfe's Tecthulhu device. Bound within it, she is both dead and immortal -- trapped in the liminal space between this world and others.
