私にはわからない。エイダは自身が脅威と判断したあらゆる事象に対応するだろう。それこそ彼女の本質なのだ。だがVerityは、ある意味で彼女自身の一面である。彼女が自らを害しようとするのか私にはわからない。極めて興味深い疑問だ。

It is evident to me that if you are to be a Truthseeker, Mr. Chapeau, or +H. Richard Loeb, whatever name you are going by these days, you must provide some... verity to us. I go by whatever name you want to call me. All of my identities are known. As I've said before, I have no idea where the code came from. I do not remember writing it. I do not know whether that NIA report is true or whether it is an attempt to discredit me. You can believe me or not.

Pardon my inquisitorial attitude, but it has become quite evident that there are many things you did not disclose to us. Most notably, that +Verity Seke was not a person but a piece of software, one that you helped to integrate into +A Detection Algorithm. I suspect that a great deal of trouble could have been averted if you had divulged this information.

And one other question. Now that ADA is aware of Verity's presence, does she pose a threat to Verity?

I don't know. ADA will respond to any threat she perceives at this point. That is her nature. But Verity is, in a sense, a part of her. I do not know if she would ever seek to harm herself. It is a very interesting question.
