ナイアンティック調査エピソード5：ナイアンティックの災厄チューリッヒの殺人

P.A.シャポー：
この地上では毎日15万3千人もの人間が死んでいる。年間で5600万人。我々にはいつ死が訪れるか知る由もない。しかし時には、別の誰かが知っていることもある。

P.A.シャポー：
彼女が何者なのか私は知らない。彼女は自らをKで始まるクルーと呼ぶ。おそらく本名ではないのだろうが、ここではそう呼ぶことにする。

クルー：
P.A.、こちらはクルーよ。私はタイコのポスターを研究していたのだけど、私が見つけたものを共有したいの。画像はこれよ。

上部から始めるわね。彫像の上に、エッシャーの絵が見える。M.C.エッシャーはもちろん知覚と現実に挑むような絵を描くことで有名ね。彫像そのものも重要なんだけれど...まず、一番下に暗号のような文字が目につくわ。これはシーザー暗号というごく初歩的なものね。単純にアルファベットを1文字目にある数字の分、手前に置き換えればいい。そうすると...こんな文章が出てくるわ。

これが意味するものは？

で、2つの死体。それらの足元を見ると、地図の枠線のように見えるのがわかると思う。実は、ここにある点はスイスの地図上のチューリッヒの位置と合致するの。この彫像はアルフレッド・エッシャーという、1800年代にスイス鉄道網を築いた有名な男爵。つまりM.C.エッシャーの図形はタイコが合成して隠しこんだ真実を表している。

どういう意味か？

タイコは未来を見ていたということよ。言うなれば予知ね。もしくはそれに似たもの。なぜならその彫像はチューリッヒ駅にあり、そして私達が追っていた、殺人ともデマとも言われている写真と一致する。こんな事が可能かしら？

でも実際、できている。

ああ、それともうひとつ。「2人が死ぬ」という言葉・・・明らかにそれは死体を指している。普通に考えればそうよね？私はそれが気になってる。なぜかはわからない、ただなんとなく。つまり、直接的過ぎないかしら？と。そこでもっとよく観察したの。正解だったわ。2、3、7、1、1。これは数字なのよ。最後の言葉は「die」──ドイツ語で「the」。反転して、検索して、ぜひとも意見を聞きたいわ。

数日前の夜、チューリッヒ駅で消えた2つの死体。私の情報源はこの話を私にもたらした、そしていま私はその謎の手がかり(クルー)を与えられた。

2人が死ぬ。駅で。中央駅で。しかし誰が？

エイダ：
チューリッヒ中央駅。駅舎前の彫像のそばです。

クルーが指摘した数字「23711」を反転し、dieをドイツ語の「the」と解釈、「the11732」でGoogle検索をかけると、旧約聖書11732番目の詩編(列王記第2：14章19節)がヒットします。
列王記第2：14章19節：エルサレムで人々が彼に対して謀反を企てたとき、彼はラキシュに逃げた。しかし、彼らはラキシュまで追いかけて、そこで彼を殺した。
この詩編の内容とチューリッヒ駅での殺人との関連については不明。

One hundred and fifty-three thousand people die on this planet everyday. That's fifty six million people a year. We don't know when death will come for us. But sometimes, someone else does.

P.A. CHAPEAU:
I don't know who she is. She calls herself Klue with a K. I'm guessing she wasn't born with that name, but here it is.

KLUE:
Hey P.A. Klue, here. I've been studying the Tycho posters, and I wanted to share what I've found. Specifically, this image.

Let's start at the top. There on the statue, you can see an Escher image. M.C. Escher was of course famous for creating images that challenged perception and reality. The statue itself is important... but first, at the bottom, we see coded text. This is a pretty standard cipher known as a Caesar Shift. Simply replace the letters with the the one that is indicated by the number at the front. Do so... and here's what you get.

what does this mean?

Now, to the bodies. If you look near their feet, you can make out what looks like the outline of a map. In fact, the dot here aligns with the map of Zurich, Switzerland. The Statue is of Alfred Escher, a famous Swiss rail baron of the eighteen hundreds. So the M.C. Escher element was a hidden truth that Tycho was synthesizing.

What do I mean?

I mean that Tycho was seeing the future. Prescience, if you will. Or something like it. Because that statue is located at the Zurich Train Station, and matches the photo of the so-called murder/hoax that we've been following. Impossible?

But possible.

Oh, and one more thing. The words "2 will die" ...seemed pretty obvious that it was referring to the bodies. Straightforward, right? Which bothered me. I don't know why, just did. I mean, why so direct? Then I looked harder. And it hit me. Two, three, seven, one, one. They're numbers. The last word "die" - "the" in German. Reverse it, google it, tell me I'm wrong.

P.A. CHAPEAU:
Two disappearing corpses at the Zurich train station a few nights ago. My source put me onto this story, and now I'm "Klue"-ed into why.

Two will die. At a train station. At Hauptbahnhof. But who?
